Kristi is the Chief Executive Officer of Access Speech & Language Therapy, Inc. She has been working in the field of Speech-Language Pathology since 1994. She received her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Western Washington University in 1994. She worked for 8 years at the Kindering Center in Bellevue, Washington providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to the birth to three population. After leaving the Kindering Center, Kristi lived overseas in the Netherlands working in private practice with children ages 2 to 9 years old as well as with children at the American International School of the Hague. After moving back to Washington, Kristi worked in the private clinical setting providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to preschool and school-aged children. Kristi is trained at the advanced level in PROMPT technique. Kristi has owned her private practice in Renton, Washington since 2005. Kristi spends her free time with her husband and two sons.

Marizel Kinimaka, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Therapist: Marizel Kinimake, M.S., CCC-SLP

Marizel has been working in the field of Speech-Language Pathology since 2003. She graduated with her B.S. degree from the University of Washington in 1999 and with her M.S. degree from the California State University in 2003. Marizel has been working at Access Speech & Language Therapy since 2007. She has extensive experience with both the pediatric and adult populations. Marizel works with a variety of communication disorders including, motor-speech, articulation, fluency/stuttering, language (receptive, expressive, social/pragmatic), voice and feeding/swallowing. Marizel is trained in Level 1 PROMPT technique. She has also received training on topics including, fluency/stuttering in children; apraxia of speech and Stanley Greenspan's DIR/Floortime approach for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Marizel feels strongly about the fact that family participation is key to a child's progress in therapy, therefore, she encourages parents to be part of the team in their child's success. In her spare time, Marizel enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children.

Lauren Brown M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Therapist:  Larisa Sanchez M.S., CCC-SLP

Lauren graduated with her Master of Science Degree from Emerson College in Boston, MA in 2011.  Lauren has been working in the field of Speech-Language Pathology since 2011.  She has extensive experience working with preschool and school aged children.  She has expertise working with children who require assessments and treatment in areas including, articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, social pragmatic communication, fluency, and augmentative/alternative communication.  Lauren also has experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in public schools in the states of Washington, Arizona and California.
